I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Wichita State University in Kansas. Shortly after, I decided to pack up my bags and move to California. I landed in the Bay Area, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home. My love for this field began when I found I had a passion for helping people and educating them on their dental health. I have enjoyed meeting new clients and developing relationships with my patients and making them feel comfortable with their dental hygiene experience here.

In 2014, I spent time volunteering at a dental clinic in Guatemala. This experience was very eye opening seeing people who have never had the opportunity to receive dental care. Their gratitude and gratefulness reminded me again why I chose this career. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, playing with my dogs and doing scuba diving travel. Some time, I aspire to travel more while volunteering in a dental setting where my skills are needed.

I graduated from Loma Linda University in 1986 and have been a practicing dental hygienist ever since. I joined Dr. Vu's dental office in 2007 and continue to enjoy the warm and supportive environment he has created through his own commitment to kindness, as well as his ability to pick excellent staff. We have a lot of fun working together and celebrating life's milestones. I love cleaning teeth. I love teaching people about oral health. I love inspiring others to increase their own health by practicing what they have learned in the dental chair.

I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years. I was born and raised in the San Jose. I love helping our patients smile when they come to our office. I have 3 boys and enjoy going to all their games, especially the football games.

I started my dental career with Samaritan Dental Care in 2007.  Starting as a dental assistant, moving to scheduling coordinator and then progressing to financial coordinator has allowed me to fully appreciate all aspects of patient care and team development.   I'll be your main resource in coordinating your dental insurance benefits and making sure you get the most accurate information regarding your plan.  I truly enjoy interacting and connecting with patients.  Helping patients to achieve healthy smiles is very rewarding. Outside of work I love spending time with my family, traveling, baking and gardening.

Hi, my name is Danny-Oliva. I was born and raised in San Jose, and I went to college at Portland State University where I got my BFA in Art Practices. I love to use water-based media and oil pastels to draw sea creatures and figures. One of my life goals is to visit every aquarium in the United States. I am the scheduling coordinator at Dr. Vu's, and I am always happy to help patients get the care they need!
